A spot that morphed from a ho-hum testimonial request to a younger, edgier :30 TV spot, and then aired across SE Asia. A teeny budget, a one-day shoot and a very happy client.
Yes, it’s in Chinese. Acuvue asked for a TV spot for 1-Day Moist lenses that would speak to the youth market in Taiwan and China. I wrote the script based on the idea that the lenses let you flow from moment to moment with your friends, without interruption. The spot was shot in two versions – one for the Taiwan market, one for the China market. Each with its own real teen-idol talent, language tweaks and shoot locations.
